Biblioteket på Københavns Rådhus

Biblioteket åbnede sammen med resten af Rådhuset i 1905. Biblioteket, som også er tegnet af Martin Nyrop, fungerede til 2015 som kommunalt bibliotek.

I 2015 flyttede man materialesamlingen til Københavns Museum og til Københavns Hovedbibliotek.

Læsesalen på biblioteket kan i dag stadig anvendes.

På biblioteket kan man i dag bl.a. se gaver fra forskellige statsoverhoveder, som har besøgt Rådhuset.

Room for contemplation in beautiful surroundings

The library opened along with the rest of City Hall in 1905. The library, which was also designed by Martin Nyrop, served as a municipal library until 2015.

In 2015, the collection of materials was moved to Copenhagen Museum and Copenhagen Central Library.

The reading room at the library can still be used today.

In the library, you can see gifts from various heads of state who have visited City Hall.
