Considering Copenhagen

Copenhagen - the world's most liveable city

Designed for life

Copenhagen is the World's leading city when it comes to offering its residents and visitors the highest life quality. The city leaves most other cities behind because of its development in architecture, design and gourmet food. Also the city's public transportation, bicycle culture, harbour baths, green public spaces and trendy cafés contribute to a high quality of life. Not least, Copenhagen manages to integrate design in everyday life to make life easy and friction-free for residents as well as visitors.

Come work with us

International guest researchers, knowledge workers and students are an indispensable resource for the Danish knowledge community. But we have quite a lot to offer in return:

  • Copenhagen is part of Medicon Valley. As one of the strongest life science clusters in Europe, it attracts great attention from international investors, mainly because of the well-driven biotech companies which provide a stimulating flow of news based on sound portfolios of new products.
  • The largest ICT cluster in Denmark is located in the Greater Copenhagen area including the southern part of Sweden. The cross–border cluster accounts for more than 100,000 ICT employees.
  • Copenhagen and the Øresund Region is a leading European centre for movie production. In the industries, you will find a work force consisting of over 70 highly skilled innovative production companies that can compete with European film hubs like Berlin or London. In addition, an enclave of computer game developers in Copenhagen has been coming together over the last ten years, now representing a significant upcoming entertainment branch.
  • Denmark has around 420 companies and 46 knowledge institutions working within cleantech. Furthermore, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), is one of the leading cleantech universities in the world, and almost half of Denmark’s cleantech companies are located in the Copenhagen and Zealand Region.

We welcome you
