The Culture and Leisure Committee

The Culture and Leisure Committee is responsible for the City of Copenhagen's tasks within the areas of culture and leisure.

The major responsibilities are libraries, sports and leisure facilities, museums, general education, the Copenhagen Civil Register and management of Copenhagen City Properties.

The committee also handles matters regarding public elections, civil marriages, Church of Denmark, tax assessment, trade licenses and alcohol licences, Rent Control Boards, the Taxi Control Board, local radio and TV and the Local Control Board for the Copenhagen Police District.

The corresponding administration is the Culture and Leisure Administration.
